'Maud' was painted during lockdown as part of the Rainbow Trail. I believe that process of creating something can be a tremendous benefit during times of stress and anxiety and with so much awareness around Covid 19 and its negative impact on mental health, I feel that the ability to create and share something beautiful is invaluable and by capturing the Rainbow theme, I have produced a beautiful piece of art with a positive connotation, even though she was created during quite difficult times.

This painting was entered into the Doncaster Art Fair competition and was a finalist in the event.
